Minimum wage hike for tipped workers? Restaurant group, local bartender say no
Raise the Wage Ohio is trying to get a constitutional amendment on the ballot to raise the minimum wage for both tipped and nontipped workers. That group and a restaurant industry group disagree on the likely impact.

Vote fails on new mental health crisis services for Montgomery County; Hotline calls will transfer to 988
Trustees for the Montgomery County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services board voted down motions for contracts for new mental health crisis service providers during a board meeting Wednesday evening, May 22, 2024. Calls to the Crisis Now hotline will transfer to 988, while mobile crisis response teams and the Montgomery County Crisis Receiving Center are expected to stop services for now after RI International ceased its partnership with Montgomery County ADAMHS.
