What to know: State of the State address |
From the Capitol: Gov. Election news: Voting is underway for the 2024 U.S. presidential primary in Michigan and over 10,000 ballots have been issued to city voters in Ann Arbor already. Bizarre weather pattern aloft looks more like April than January |
Upcoming: Meteorologists use the upper-air pattern to gauge what’s going to happen here on the ground. Over the next week or two the upper-air pattern is going to take on a rather odd look for the middle of winter. Wintry whirlwinds : A weather phenomenon that appeared over Lake Michigan is creating quite the buzz. A radar image circulating nationwide has had meteorologists and weather fans excited to share it. This fairly rare weather pattern - known as mesovorticies - occurred during last Friday’s winter storm conditions which spread across part of Michigan. That's a lot of fog: Parts of Michigan had dense fog yesterday. We weren’t alone. In fact, an obscure statistic shows yesterday morning was one of the foggiest mornings in the whole U.S. in at least 18 years. |

He expects to play in San Francisco too, despite being listed with so many injuries. No one questions that man’s toughness -- he once played through a fractured throat! Speaking of Ragnow: Lions fans showed their appreciation for Ragnow's gutsy performance in Sunday night's game by flooding his foundation with upwards of $20,000 in donations.
