"Experience is helpful, but it is judgement that matters." ~ General Colin Powell This Week at DTI Friday - 3pm ET - Weekly Wrap Up (Register) Saturday - 10am ET - 2025 Outlook (Register) Market Review - S&P Futures While moving higher on Thursday, the market traded above the high of the previous week which was 6123.25. The current high this week from overnight trading is 6146.75, and the high of the week prior was 6148.00. All eyes though are on both the January high at 6162.25 and the December high at 6163.75. If the market is able to mount a rally then the 6145.00 pivot is a strong number to turn on. We also know what levels would be meaningful for the market to start stalking. However, this week has already done enough. We have a higher high and a higher low for the first time in a few weeks. Ultimately today should be more about setting up next week than closing out this week, and it is worth noting that next week starts after a Monday Holiday.
