Replacing Vance: Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine and Lt. Gov. Jon Husted recently visited Mar-a-Lago, the Florida residence of President-elect Donald Trump, fueling speculation that Ohio’s lieutenant governor might be nominated to the U.S. Senate, Laura Hancock reports. U.S. Sen. JD Vance is expected to resign from his seat to become vice president sometime after Jan. 1 and the job of nominating a replacement for Vance falls on DeWine. Holiday traditions: Clevelanders have all kinds of traditions – familial, religious, cultural. Peter Chakerian has a sample of what readers cherish around the holidays. |
