| Greetings! | Motley Fool Stock Advisor has probably gotten more writeups in Stock Gumshoe than any other newsletter, partly because its advertising is so pervasive... and this time, it's a pitch about a recent recommendation that Tom Gardner just made on Friday and has bet the Fool's own money on, with hopes for a "5X" return. So what's the story (and, more importantly, what's the stock?) Just click below to... | | |
| Last week was a busy one here at Gumshoe HQ.... miss anything? Both Dr. KSS and I were at conferences and shared some of our notes from those confabs with the Irregulars, and we had our share of teaser solutions to throw your way as well... It all started out with a pitch that promised a "$15 stock you could retire on" -- if you missed that one, the story is here. We moved on to check out "Curzio's Rare Opportunity" in a "Secret IPO" from a gold stock, which was really a rerun with some updating... that story is here. And not to be outdone, Ian Wyatt also said he's got a "Secret IPO" that could crush Comcast and DirecTV... how do you get in on a private company before it goes public? He dangles some hints, our story on that (with the answers) is here. The teaser pitch that floated to the top of the pool on Thursday was from the venerable Personal Finance letter, and it's teasing us with this notion that the government owes us $1,003 more a month, money we can get if we get on a special list... oooh, sounds nice and free, right? And just what we deserve? Well, there's a pretty big catch. I explain here. And if you're one of our Irregulars (my favorite people!), just browse on down to the Irregulars Corner below to see if you missed any of the bonus articles you were entitled to this week. | | |
