Dear Skiers/Riders, We continue to work diligently with ski industry and health officials on developing plans for 2020/21 Winter Season and we look forward to keeping you up to date with our progress throughout the summer. In the meantime, we are performing our annual maintenance and safety checks on all our chairlifts for the winter season. In addition, we are in the final stages of completing our LED night lighting replacement project. Be sure to check our website throughout the summer for Mountain updates. Please Note: Our Spring Season Pass Sale has been extended – visit cypressmountain.com for details LED Project Update: In partnership with Climate Smart Businesses, we are pleased to report that we are in the final stage of converting all 560 metal halide night lights to an energy-efficient LED lighting system for both the Downhill and Nordic facilities that will result in more than 50% energy savings, reduce lighting pollution across the entire year, while delivering an exceptional experiences for guests over the previous system. Great news for our guests and for our environment. For full details - http://bcparks.ca/explore/parkpgs/cypress/ What you can do: If you are visiting Cypress Mountain or any other public setting on your way to the Resort, we recommend following the precautions below during your visit: Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds Respect and keep a distance of 2 meters (6 feet) between each individual Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands Avoid close contact with people as much as possible especially indoors Cough, sneeze or clear your throat into your sleeve at the bend in your arm, or feel welcome to wear a mask if desired |
