The MozFest community came together for what was the best virtual festival yet. With over 6,000 participants from 138 countries and over 420 sessions – we truly experienced the collective power of people.

The final day of MozFest often brings a range of emotions: sadness that our time together is over, but excitement about the projects and opportunities that come out of the festival and will make a positive impact on our digital world.

MozFest isn’t just an event, we’re a community that connects and collaborates all year long. That’s why we’re never too sad when MozFest is over: the work continues as you take home the learnings and collaborations. There’s more just around the corner.

MozFest House: Amsterdam

We’re excited to announce our next MozFest House will take place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands 19-21 June, 2023!

MozFest House is an extension of MozFest, the premiere gathering for activists in diverse global movements fighting for a more humane digital world. It’s a local event that manifests the essence of MozFest in a regional setting, through small in-person sessions, workshops, discussions.

Securing a ticket to MozFest House will also grant you access to all On-Demand sessions, Art & Media content, and Lighting Talks from MozFest 2023!

Announcing Mozilla.ai

A new wave of AI is poised to transform the technologies we use everyday. Trust must be at the core of how we develop and deploy AI, everyday, all the time. It is not an optional ‘add-on’.

Mozilla has long championed a world where AI is more trustworthy, investing in startups, advocating for laws, and mobilizing the public to focus on human agency and accountability in AI.

Now we’re taking the next step: creating a company — and gathering a community — to build a trustworthy open-source AI ecosystem.

Mozilla.ai’s mission is to make developing trustworthy AI apps and products easy. To start we will focus on developing tools to build safety and transparency into the heart of recommendation systems and generative AI technologies.
