| MicroStrategy Added to Nasdaq 100 | Starting December 23, MicroStrategy (MSTR) will officially join the Nasdaq-100 index along with Palantir (PLTR) and Axon Enterprise (AXON). | After soaring more than 570% in the past year, the company’s Bitcoin allocation strategy has sparked significant debate. Still, there’s no denying the firm’s—and its founder’s—ability to keep pushing the stock higher. | MicroStrategy currently has $46 billion in BTC yet has $7.2 billion in debt. It bought its 439,000 BTC at an average price of $61,725. | Why it matters: By being included in Nasdaq 100, MSTR will now benefit from passive inflows rather than only direct investment. | Invesco’s QQQ fund, for example, uses the Nasdaq 100 as it’s foundation and has more than $330 billion in AUM. At current market cap, MSTR will now represent ~.43% of the index or ~a $2 billion allocation. | What’s Next?
