The Sunday Round-Up | February 21, 2021


Happy Sunday morning! About a month ago, I started publishing a travel news update for my Daily Travel Tips subscribers on Mondays with all the travel news they may have missed over the weekend. But because it’s been so popular with readers and there’s so much travel news every single day, I’m going to do it daily. The URL won’t ever change so you can always find the travel news here. I usually update it each morning but sometimes I do it at night or if there’s a really big story, I will update it immediately. How To Always Have Clean Water
It's so hard to fathom what's happening in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. One takeaway is a reminder about water, both at home and when you travel. I used to only recommend carrying a $30 (now on sale for $15) LifeStraw to filter water for international travel. Now, I will keep mine in my carry-on bag wherever I go, even domestically, since a quarter of Texas' population (7 million people) are under orders to boil tap water before drinking it because low water pressure could have allowed bacteria to seep into the system. If it can happen there, it can happen anywhere. United Airlines Engine Debris Drops From Sky on Flight From Denver to Honolulu
