My Confession (Hack the Insiders)
Dear Derek, Insider trading - the kind you always hear about - is obviously ILLEGAL. People who trade based on nonpublic, inside information... and make a bunch of money... That's clearly wrong. But... there's another kind of trading done by insiders that is 100% legal. Corporate insiders - like CEOs, board members, and other top company leaders - still have knowledge that no one else has... But so long as they report their trades... it's 100% legal. Best of all... you can even follow along with them... In fact... I've followed LEGAL trading done by corporate insiders for 25 years now. It's led to top gains of 824% in 3 months... 480% in 4 months... 508% in 3 months... Even 1,248% in 4 months! But... I have a confession. There's an even BETTER kind of 100% legal trading done by insiders... It could be the biggest "edge" you'll ever see. The only people who know even more than the corporate insiders... Are GOVERNMENT insiders... like members of Congress and other officials. As the Times reports... "If there is a golden rule to beating the stock market, members of the United States Congress seem to know it." Lately... they've made HUGE trades and increased their net worth by shocking margins. For instance, while the S&P 500 returned 23% last year... Oregon Senator Ron Wyden grew his portfolio by 123.8%. Florida Senator Debbie Schultz earned 142%... And North Carolina Senator David Rouzer, who's been called "Congress's Wizard of Wall Street," pulled in an incredible 149%. Again... it's 100% legal. And since they make the laws... it will likely remain legal (why would they take away the money train from themselves?). So... For the first time in almost three decades...
