The Sunday Round-Up | January 30, 2022 Greetings from the home of Super Bowl LVI, which is happening two weeks from today! I was supposed to be in NYC this week for a travel conference but I backed out since I wasn't ready to be in a room with hundreds of people from all over the world. But I hear it was successful so kudos to TravMedia for pulling it off.
My Dad Has COVID Again
I'm happy I didn't go because not only was it freezing and there was a huge snowstorm but I would have gone to visit my dad a couple of times in nearby Connecticut. Unfortunately, we just found out that he tested positive for COVID-19. Yes, it's his second time in five months. I updated the dedicated page I created the first time around with the latest, which you can read here.
East Coast Snowstorm
If you are traveling to or from the Northeast they're still digging out of the snow. New York's LGA has canceled 45% of their flights so far today (11:30am PT) and Boston 46%.
