Yo Pit Crazies, Today is a day of BBQ, family, friends and fun plus a day of thanks for living in this great country. It is also the beginning of the Summer for me which gets a late start in Maine. June was unusually rainy, so I postponed getting things done, especially launching the watercraft. Now it’s go-time: July, August, and September are my window, with everything out of the water by Columbus Day. It’s also the start of my second job—caring for small boats. The Sunfish needs to be scraped and launched at the dock. The rowing skiff needs to go in the water as well. We rehabbed and painted it just last year, but I’m already thinking it might need another touch-up. It’s a very fast rower, and I love taking it out for 5 a.m. sessions on glassy mornings. The canoe is my go-to for fishing on freshwater lakes and ponds. Last year, I repaired all the dings and replaced the seats and damaged gunwales. It’s a bit rough-looking on the water-facing side, but the other side still looks great. Likely this guy will probably take the 4th off and leave me some clams in the cove. With any luck, I’ll finally get out on the water. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend! If you have a moment, check out this video on how to trade 0DTE. To Your Trading Success, |
