The NanoSafety Cluster Newsletter issue #24 is out now! We hope this finds you well. SOS! We start with an update from the NSC Coordination Team, which flags up an URGENT NEED for projects to help with funding for the newsletter and dissemination activities. We extend our gratitude to NanoHarmony and Gov4Nano, who have picked up the baton until January 2022. This will support not only issue #25, but also the continuation and maintenance of these activities: If your project can sponsor these activites for any length of time Read on... In this edition, you can catch up with the NSC Working Groups, and see the latest developments from our projects, including PATROLS, NanoPAT, SABYDOMA, ASINA, HARMLESS, SUNSHINE, NanoEplore, CHARISMA, NanoExplore, SbD4Nano, NanoSafe, and the NMBP-13 Risk Governance projects - Gov4Nano, NANORIGO and RiskGONE. There is also the opportunity to take part in a survey on the perception of nanomaterials. On p.17 you can find out more about the micro- and nanoplastics cluster, CUSP, following the release of their first newsletter and stunning brochure, available on the website. Don't miss the latest publications, including a COVID-19 innoculation study by Paris Lodron University of Salzburg (PLUS), a new paper in Nature Nanotechnology titled ''Towards FAIR Nanosafety Data', and a study by DaNa4.0 looking at wood as the raw material of the future. The first of our forthcoming events is on the 27th October, so save the dates for these: - Governança do riscos da nanotecnologia e nanomateriais
- NanoCommons Interactive Workshop
- Total NanoSafe Hybrid Conference
- NanoPAT Workshop
- SweNanoSafe Workshop Safe and Sustainable by Design
As always, thank you for your ongoing support! Take care and stay safe Lesley |
