Researchers have analyzed a couple of widely used consumer products to better understand these microscopic plastics. They found that when the plastic products are exposed to hot water, they release trillions of nanoparticles per liter into the water.
Apps - and anything else that is programmed - can actually be more or less efficient and require more or less power to perform their tasks. A group of researchers focuses on that exact point: making sure the software on everything that surrounds us is coded as efficiently as possible.
