On March 22, Talk of the Stacks presents award-winning author Kaitlyn Greenidge in conversation with radio and podcast host Lissa Jones. Greenidge will discuss her 2021 New York Times top historical fiction pick, Libertie. Set in Reconstruction-era Brooklyn, this moving novel was inspired by the life of one of the first Black female doctors in the United States. |
