Regional Roundup
Question of the Week
Tuesday we asked: After losing $615 million in 2016, Staples announced in March it would close 70 stores this year, which is part of its restructuring following its failed $6-billion merger with Office Depot.
Does your business use retail stores for office supplies?
  • We used to buy all of our office supplies at our local Staples store. More recently we have been buying more products online because we find (1) it more convenient, (2) bigger selections and (3) often find lower costs. I do find service at my local Staples to be great but, unfortunately for Staples, frequently the staff outnumbers the customers.
  • I use a retail store simply because I don't need much in the way of office supplies. When I had a storefront business, I used to have office supplies delivered.
  • Would like to continue to have the 'hands-on' method of purchasing.
