OPTC Members and Tennis Family, Our hope is that everyone is safe and well as we experience the increasing wave of the pandemic and we want to inform everyone of the increased mitigation measures that the Governor has announced. Beginning Friday 11/20, the state of Illinois returns to Tier 3 mitigation restrictions which include outdoor clubs and activities. The full policy that details all levels of activity and commerce can be found at https://www2.illinois.gov/IISNews/22356-Tier_3_Resurgence_Migitations.pdf |

We have been fortunate to enjoy a few extra weeks of outdoor play and hope to get in a few more sets prior to the unavoidable cold snap. Since the club is technically closed, it is imperative that members who continue to play when possible observe these guidelines beginning 11/20 and exercise personal responsibility so we do not violate our charter with the Cook County Forest Preserve. We also wish to inform the membership that the club will be fully closed as of 11/30 with no activity until the spring season. Thanks again for a great year and wish everyone good health and happy holidays!! With appreciation, OPTC Board |
