May 31st, 2024 Dear CHAC Artists, we are very excited to announce the opening of "Low Brow Art"! We hope that you will join us for this unique exhibit. Low Brow Art is the ultimate form of expression for an artist. It is also known as pop surrealism. Nothing is off limits, from Ratfink to comics to political satire. Low Brow Art often uses humor or sarcasm. “I saw an awesome show at the Harwood Museum curated by Greg Moon and others… to me it’s the next level in Art! It’s fun and heady. Stevon Lucero taught me years ago that artists are nothing but reporters of what we see in society, it is a playful way to comment on what we see.” Rob and Tammy Yancey CHAC Gallery is busy planning for the Mariposa Gala: Life, Death and Art fundraiser.
