REBATE NEWS

Did you realize that the New Jersey's Clean Energy Program operates on a fiscal year basis? That means that our program year runs from July 1 to June 30 versus a calendar year. New programs and offers typically start on July 1, and we are happy to announce that our most popular rebates will continue to be offered again.

Looking for a new appliance? We've got rebates on clothes washers, dryers and refrigerators.  Is your HVAC system on its last legs? We've got central air conditioner and heating system rebates in addition to water heater rebates. Ready to take a more comprehensive look at your home? Start with an energy audit from one of our Home Performance contractors! They will analyze your home from top to bottom and offer a package of rebates and low-interest financing options.

Businesses and local governments can also take advantages of significant rebates to impact their bottom line. Interested in learning more? Call us at 866-NJSMART.
OUT WITH THE OLD, IN WITH THE NEW

Most people do not know that older refrigerators and freezers can be major energy hogs. You can save up to $150 on your utility bills by replacing them with new ENERGY STAR certified appliances. We have rebates on refrigerators up to $75 to make the deal even sweeter.

Plus, instead of paying the appliance retailer to take the old unit away, we will pick up the old fridge or freezer free of charge, AND give you $50 for each one! Just call 866-NJSMART to schedule your pickup or make an appointment online.

Do you have other old appliances lying around? We can also recycle room air conditioners and/or dehumidifiers during your pickup. You will receive a $25 rebate per unit.

About New Jersey's Clean Energy Program (NJCEP):

NJCEP provides financial and other incentives to encourage customers of the State's electric and natural gas utilities to install energy efficiency (EE) or renewable energy (RE) technologies. Installation of EE and RE measures helps residential customers as well as businesses, local governments and schools reduce their electric and natural gas usage resulting in lower energy costs and reduced environmental impacts. Since 2001, New Jersey has invested more than $3.3 billion in incentives provided to over 1.6 million customers that installed energy efficiency measures and over 90,000 customers that installed solar systems. Measures installed in the last year will save about 483,000 MWh per year reducing carbon dioxide emissions by over 290,000 metric tons a year. The program is authorized and overseen by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities.
