f This morning saw sub-zero temperatures and fog as I set off early to lead the service amongst old friends at Landbeach. By mud morning the sun had broken through and I was on to Waterbeach to baptise six people from there and from the new Thirst Church in Cambridge. Young families are moving into the former barracks houses and joining the church as you can see, and a group of them have even refounded the Mothers Union. It was a vibrant occasion, and now after a vicarage lunch with Paul and Sue I'm on my way to Great Staughton for evensong. A full day but a good one!
