Churches within a small geographic hub or across a Deanery looked to raise funds to support a Secondary Schools Worker – supported by the Churches but to be based out of the Secondary School(s) in their deanery or local area. An application to the GROWTH FUND could help to match-fund the role of employing a Schools Worker, with the Churches in the area/deanery also half-funding the role to work with their young people in Schools . Contact the Mission Team for an example of how this is working with a Schools Coordinator now in post for the Huntingdon deanery and schools.
