Helen Murgatroyd prints It's always a pleasure to receive new prints from Helen Murgatroyd. They give us an insight into what she's being doing or, in this case, eating. A keen observer of the every day, Helen makes stunning still life linocuts centered around reassuringly domestic daily rituals. We've got a brilliant selection in the print shop. Enjoy the full collection here. |

Bathing belles, curious babes and merfolk Being just a stone's throw from the seashore, it seems fitting to have our shelves stocked with mermaids and tiny bathing belles from Oxford-based ceramicist Rose Wallace. Starting with discarded objects and vintage treasures, Rose combines the elements to make press moulds for her creamware creations. A mudlarked penny doll and discarded toy fish become a merbabe; other tiny figures stand atop plinths made from pastry tins; each of them curios with a personality all their own. Some are on the website, but we've got many more in store. Come and meet them for yourself. We're open 11am-5pm seven days a week. |

Autumn Show updates from Tutton & Young We are currently contacting the selected exhibitors for MADE London and it's shaping up to be a brilliant show. We can't wait to see the curated lineup in the brand new venue at The Block, in Islington. We'll be announcing the selected artists in the coming weeks, both here and over at Tutton & Young on Instagram. It seems a long way off, but November will come around very soon. Save the date: 3rd - 5th November. --- In less good news, it is with great regret that we have had to cancel The Brighton Art Fair, which was schedule to return this September. The extensive refurbishments at Brighton Corn Exchange are not yet finished, and will be completed after the current four-month run of Van Gogh Live. This means our September weekend slot is no longer available. We were really looking forward to returning to this iconic venue, and hope to be there again soon. It just won't be this year. We'll keep you posted once a new date can be confirmed. |

More mermaids, this one by Sarah Young from the legend of Zennor, at the tip of Cornwall. There is a carving of her on the end of a pew in the church there. Hand-printed, using a letterpress, so each print is unique. Available to purchase here. |
