Why Don't We Change?
New Video
WATCH NOW

Have human beings changed psychologically? Why are we still very much the same, even after existing for thousands of years?

We may feel we have progressed, yet despite all our attempts to transform, it still seems as if humanity is dealing with the same problems. We even know what the outcomes of our conditioning are: war, violence, greed, isolation, loneliness, and more... But it still hasn't been enough.

What's it going to take for humanity to change? Does humanity continue to struggle with transformation? The latest technology, the smartest thinkers, and the religions still haven't solved these ancient problems.

Perhaps the better question is: what would it take for you to change? Do you continue to struggle with total transformation?

Do you think it's possible?

"You know if you don’t change... what the consequences are. You will be nationalistic, you will be tribal, insular, isolated, and therefore having no relationship globally—fighting, fighting, fighting, building up more and more armaments to destroy each other. Now, why don’t you, if you are at all serious in this matter, why don’t you ask yourself that question? Why am I, a human being, who have been through all this, why haven’t I changed? What would be your answer?"

Share Your Thoughts

The Immeasurable is dedicated to exploring the essential questions of our existence. The intent is to inspire readers to question assumptions of the mind, offering opportunities to ask deep questions into common life themes which are superficially accepted.

We encourage an investigation into the fabric of reality and our physical and cultural conditioning. In this exploration, we might find a new understanding of time and its relation to our thinking processes. A perception of the interconnectedness within the totality of life might arise in us as our perception expands through these explorations.

"Surely, to find out what is true your mind must be free to inquire, which means that it cannot merely accept or believe. I can give you a description of the truth, but it will not be the same thing as your experiencing the truth for yourself."
