| | Dear John, The transition period from CE marking to UKCA certification will expire at the end of this year for many products. For manufacturers it is therefore necessary in the second half of the year to certify their products according to the requirements of the authorities in the UK in order to continue to be present on the British market. To make the topic a bit clearer, we have published a new whitepaper on UKCA certification. Enjoy the read. Your CETECOM Team

| New Whitepaper: UKCA certification |
| | As of January 1, 2021, England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are no longer part of the European Union. This has an impact on the approval of products with radio technologies in these countries - manufacturers must comply with new specifications and rules of the responsible authorities. There are even differences between the certification for England, Wales and Scotland on the one hand and the certification for Northern Ireland on the other. As the end of the transition period granted by the authorities is now also approaching, we would like to clarify the current specifications, responsibilities and necessary steps for a UK market approval in our whitepaper "UKCA Certification - The new regulatory requirements for market approval in the UK". In the paper, we go over the transition periods, describe the paths to approval, and provide guidance on the use of UKCA labeling. |
