Throughout its 90-year history, the Society has been associated with, and supported, some of the biggest names and most daring feats in exploration. So when it came time to commemorate that legacy, it only made sense to partner with Roots â a company literally born in a cabin in Ontario’s Algonquin Provincial Park. This tee celebrates Canada's first female astronaut and the first neurologist in space, Roberta Bondar, who flew aboard space shuttle Discovery on mission STS-42 from January 22 to 30, 1992. The shirt is screen-printed with a reproduction of Bondar’s official mission patch and features our name on the sleeve. Available in men’s and women’s sizes up to XXL.
Author and anthropologist Wade Davis has dedicated his life to researching and celebrating the ethnosphere: “The sum total of all thoughts and intuitions, myths and beliefs, ideas and inspirations brought into being by the human imagination since the dawn of consciousness.” This shirt is screen-printed with a colourful expedition patch designed in honour of Davis’ pioneering work and features our name on the sleeve.
