Giving Kids a Better Chance
Throughout the past two years, it has become increasingly clear that children suffer when parents don’t have a say in education. That’s why I’m so excited about 2022: With the new year comes new opportunities to give kids a greater chance at success—by giving their parents a greater choice.

Standing Up For Farmers and Ranchers
At a time when farmers and ranchers are struggling with supply chain bottlenecks and soaring inflation, the Biden administration has proposed a new rule that will further strain their businesses.
By placing new regulatory burdens on small lending institutions — including 100 percent of farm credit lenders — this new rule from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) would make farmer’s jobs even more difficult, ultimately damaging our economy.
This week, Representative William Timmons and I wrote to CFPB Director Rohit Chopra to oppose this rule and urge CFPB to sincerely listen to the concerns of lenders, farmers, and ranchers. Click here to read more about the letter.
