Whether it’s a romantic partnership you’re reconsidering, your relationship with food, alcohol or even yourself, the new year brings with it an opportunity to step back and assess where we are in life and what we want to change in 2022. And I don’t mean that in a put-a-lot-of-pressure-on-yourself kind of way. My resolutions — if you can even call them that — are small: Spend less time scrolling mindlessly on my phone, take more walks and really savor the time I have with my young kids. I found this story about how to be a happier parent by senior reporter Catherine Pearson inspiring in that regard.
If you have any relationship resolutions this year, I’d love to hear them. Send those to relationships@huffpost.com and I may feature them in an upcoming story or newsletter.

In case you missed it 2021 brought a degree of normalcy back to weddings. Understandably, some brides and grooms still opted for micro weddings but others — including people who postponed their 2020 nuptials — were able to host the events they had dreamed of. Junebug Weddings, a wedding planning website, revealed the winners of their annual “Best of The Best Wedding Photography” contest for 2021, and the photos do not disappoint. No matter big or small, these celebrations were not short on love.
