The "person of interest" arrested today in connection to the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson had many connections to the tech and startup world.

 

Luigi Mangione was the valedictorian of a prestigious Baltimore high school, where he talked about wanting to study AI. At the University of Pennsylvania, he studied video game development and interned with a Maryland game development company. On graduation, he founded a startup in that field.
