WITH OUR WALK-UP WINDOW, PATRONS CAN BORROW BOOKS WITHOUT SETTING FOOT IN THE LIBRARY Have you tried our walk-up window? While all three library buildings have been open to the public since June, patrons can also access the library with our walk-up window. To use our walk-up window, place a hold request via our online catalog or by calling (218) 730-4200. When your items are ready, you will receive an email and can stop by the Main Library anytime to pick up your items. Bring your library card! We have two designated parking spots in front of the Main Library where you can park while using our walk-up window. |

TALES & TRAVEL October 13th & 28th | 5:30-6:30pm | Mt. Royal Join us for... An innovative library program that provides services directly to people diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease and related dimentias. This one-hour program takes participants on an imaginary trip to Puerto Rico and includes books, music, objects, folktales and interesting facts about Puerto Rico. Registration is required. |

HALLO-TEEN: A SPOOKTACULAR HALLOWEEN EXPERIENCE October 27th | 5:00-6:00pm | Mt. Royal Join us for... A spooktacular Halloween experience! Dress up, grab your friends and stop by the MT. ROYAL BRANCH Wednesday evening for some FREE Halloween fun. Experience the kitchen of mystery, the spooky crawlspace and the hall of oddities. Participate in our Halloween costume contest. Enjoy snacks and drinks on our outdoor patio. This experience will take 10 to 20 minutes. Teens will be let into the library in small groups and walk through together. Dress in costume and stop by our photo booth to participate in our Halloween costume contest! Winners will win a $20 Barnes and Nobles gift card (1st prize) and $10 Target gift cards (2nd & 3rd prizes). For teens in 6th through 12th grades. |

"HALLOWEEN IN DULUTH" AND "HALLOWEEN FOR TEENS" GOOSECHASES October 29th - November 1st | Online Join us for... A Halloween scavenger hunt for families! To get started, download the Goosechase app on your smartphone, search for the "Halloween in Duluth" game, and use the password "Boo!" On Halloween, complete Halloween-themed missions, post pictures of your costumes for other players to see, and rack up points to win fun prizes including an entire bucket of candy, gift cards, Halloween books and other fun swag. Duluth teens can search for "Halloween for Teens" and use the password "Teens" to join a separate Goosechase game designed specifically for them!
