| | Dear fans of Skateistan, It was a busy month and we're so excited to share some news. We raised over $109,000 in our latest fundraising campaign, called It's Her Turn. The construction on our fifth Skate School, in Bamyan (Afghanistan), is well underway - some walls are going up and there is a second floor in place! At this time next year, we hope to have students in those classrooms and in the first indoor concrete skatepark in Afghanistan. Lastly, we are so excited to tell you that our students are back at Skateistan in Phnom Penh and Mazar-e-Sharif! Read on to find out more. | READ MORE ABOUT BAMYAN HERE. |

Skate Schools start to reopen! | | At the end of July, we re-opened our doors to students and staff returning to programs at our Skate School in Phnom Penh. It was incredible to be able to see our students again and they are stoked to be able to see their friends and mentors in person. Last week we were also able to open our Skate School in Mazar-e-Sharif to small groups of students. Both staff and students have missed being at the Skate School so much and it feels amazing to be back! To ensure the safety of our students and staff returning to programs, we are following guidelines set out by authorities, such as hygiene and distancing measures and continuing education on covid-19. | HEAD TO OUR WEBSITE TO MAKE A DONATION TODAY. |
