Ocean Campus: the Surfrider's educational platform

All year long, the Ocean Campus platform publishes infographics, quizzes, videos to educate not only the youngest on environmental issues related to the ocean.
Check it out and learn how to protect our oceans.

ART & TOTE-BAGS

In November, the Surfrider Lisbon chapter organized a tote-bag exhibition on the “protection of the oceans” theme with a school.
50 classes were involved in the creation of the bags, a fantastic way to educate children about environmental issues in a country with 1800 km of coastline.

RESET YOUR HABITS

On November the 10th, as a part of the Reset Your Habits campaign, the Aude chapter of Surfrider organized an art exhibition with 10 artists from the area.

The 10 artists worked on the reduction of plastic bottles in order to limit their impact on the environment.

Matthew Wigglessworth is an artist influenced by the surf, the travels and the meditation in harmony with the ocean. Inspired by the marine litter he has so often observed, Matthew has created an original work to raise awareness and support the commitment of all our volunteers who help us clean the beaches of Europe.

In this European Week for Waste Reduction, say no to plastic bags and go to reusable.
