#METOO in the Culture sector: From call-outs to structural change

  6 October 2021,16:00-17:30 CEST

SHIFT Online Session on Gender & Power Relations
In order to present the first results of our latest research on sexual harassment, bullying and power abuse in the European art field, we are inviting you to an online session held as part of the SHIFT – Shared Initiatives for Training project on 6 October at 16:00-17:30 CEST. Our research is a contribution towards moving the dialogue away from singular #MeToo cases towards structures, with the goal of inspiring cultural networks, art institutions and organisations to self-critically reflect on their own position towards sexual and power abuse and to re-define their work models, codes and structures.

This online session will be followed by a participatory discussion at our
IETM Lyon Plenary Meeting 2021 on 22 October where the final SHIFT Gender and Power Relations research will be launched.

PERFORM EUROPE INSIGHTS: Sustainability through innovation

Our Perform Europe Insights Report brings together the main learning points we have drawn from the Perform Europe process, since its start in December 2020. The report calls attention to the current issues and imbalances in the European system of cross-border touring and presentations of the performing arts, and articulates a vision on how to bring change.
