Video-Forums, von Karin Sander nach Laufzeit sortiert Ausstellung 4.7. – 2.8., Hanseatenweg Das Projekt 494h 29m 53s von Karin Sander zeigt 1.254 Videofilme aus dem Sammlungsbestand des Video-Forums des Neuen Berliner Kunstvereins (n.b.k.) im Studio der Akademie der Künste sortiert nach Laufzeit. Die Videofilme von 574 Künstler*innen und Künstler*innengruppen werden – von den kürzesten bis zu den längsten – in einem 494-stündigen Langzeitscreening hintereinander abgespielt. Viktor Ruban Abschlusspräsentation 17.7., 19 Uhr, Pariser Platz Mit den Studierenden der Tanzwissenschaft untersucht der in Kyjiw basierte, ukrainische Choreograf, Tanzpädagoge und Kulturaktivist Viktor Ruban Methoden des Reenactments. Nach der Analyse von Beispielen von Reenactments sowie, dabei auch Subkulturen des Tanzes einbeziehend, des Zusammenspiels zwischen Reenactment und Rekonstruktion, werden eigene Herangehensweisen an kleine Formate des Reenactments entwickelt, die performativ präsentiert werden. In conversation about the recently published book Wie kommt das Neue in die Welt? (How does the new enter the world?), which summarises the directorship, Akademie members Schwarz and Rebecca Saunders as well as composers Detlev Glanert and Sara Glojnarić will provide insights into the creative process. Video-Forum sorted by running time by Karin Sander Exhibition 4 Jul – 2 Aug, Hanseatenweg Karin Sander’s project 494h 29m 53s comprises 1,254 videos from the Video-Forum collection at the Neuer Berliner Kunstverein (n.b.k.), all screened in the Studio at the Akademie der Künste. The videos, created by 574 different artists and artist collectives, will be played one after the other – from the shortest to the longest – in a 494-hour screening. The programme follows a defined structure – with 12-hour screenings on weekdays and 24-hour screenings at the weekend. Opening: 3 Jul, 7 pm. more |

Together with the Critical Dance Studies students he was exploring methods of reenactment: through analytical consideration of artefacts and, hereby also including materials of dance subculture, the interplay between reenactment and reconstruction, and finally the development of own approaches to small formats of reenactment, which will be presented performatively.
