As the motorsport world revs up for the 2021 season to start in earnest, we’re looking ahead to two events with a distinctly Iberian flavour. First up is the Spanish Grand Prixset to take place from the 7th May and the MotoGP starting 4th June. Both races are to be held at the illustrious Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, which is set for a revamp before tires meet the hallowed tarmac this year.
With the changes set to be complete for the return of two-time Spanish champion Fernando Alonso, it remains to be seen whether he gains home field advantage over the likes of Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen who’ll also be looking to put their stamp on the season. |
