Explore Classical Physics

We invite you to join us in exploring Classical Physics — the physics before Einstein — and its important practical applications.

We begin this journey with Physics 101: 6 ZOOM seminars, each on a Tuesday starting at 10:00 am US Pacific Time and expecting to last about 90 minutes.

Physics 101 includes:

· What are Science and Physics? And what can they provide?

· Elements of Physics: Space, Time, Energy, and Matter

· What is Conserved and why this is important

· Newton’s Laws of Mechanics and Gravitation

· Astronomy and Kepler’s Laws of Planetary Motion

· Thermodynamics and the Industrial Revolution

· What is Rate of Change and why it is important

The seminar dates are:

January 24 and 31

February 7, 14, 21 and 28

Subscription: $40 for 6 classes

All seminars will be Video Recorded, allowing you to view them if you miss the live event, or review them later as you wish.

The only prerequisite for Physics 101 is curiosity and determination. The course is entirely self-contained and gently explains everything you need to know.
