Nick Cannon is mourning the death of his youngest son, Zen, whom he welcomed just five months ago with Alyssa Scott. The comedian, who has six other children, revealed his baby boy died after his battle with brain cancer, E! News reports. "I got so much to talk about," he said on The Nick Cannon Show on Tuesday. "I haven't even shared this with anybody. Not even the crew. Just because there is so much going on in the world. I had a tough, very tough weekend." The actor said he took his son to the hospital thinking he'd be going in for a routine check to make sure everything was okay with his sinuses. "But by the time we found out that he had another condition. And I think it was called, if I'm not mistaken, fluid that was building up in his head, and that was the cause," Nick said, referring to the condition hydrocephalus. "His head was starting to get big. When we found out it was more, they called it a malignant tumour in his head. Immediately, we had to have surgery. Brain surgery." The talk show host said the doctors put a shunt in Zen's head as they hoped "for the best" and "carried on" as usual. But things took a turn around Thanksgiving, when "the tumour began to grow a lot faster". Click 'Read More' for the full article |
