Content is king: Disney+ hits 10m subscribers in 24 hours

Disney+ launched on Tuesday in the US, Canada and Netherlands, and 10m people subscribed in 24 hours. For comparison, as Bloomberg media analyst Geetha Ranganathan observed, it took HBO approximately four years to attract 10m subscribers to its HBO Now streaming service.
