A NJ art teacher overdosed on fentanyl right in front of his middle school students |
Frank Thompson probably won’t be teaching too many art classes anymore after being arrested for a fentanyl overdosein front of his students. The 57-year-old taught at Roosevelt Intermediate School in Westfield, NJ. Thompson was found unresponsive and unconscious just after 9 a.m. in his classroom on November 29. He was being treated by a school nurse when officers arrived on scene. One of the officers recognized the signs of a drug overdose and injected the teacher with naloxone hydrochloride, or Narcan, to which Thompson showed immediate signs of improvement.
