No good bagels in South Louisiana? This Lafayette bakery is trying to change that.

Straw Cove Bakery, that little startup bakery housed in the old warehouse on Monroe Street, is hitting the market with their bagels. You can already find them in Champagne's Market and Ton's Downtown.

Said co-owner Morgan Angelle: We’ve been selling breads since mid-October, and the bagels were the first thing that people want. I think there really was a deficit around here for that."
