This virtual conference is designed to provide teachers with principles and strategies that may be applied to a wide variety of topics and settings.At the end of this virtual conference, you will:

  • Walk away with strategies for the classroom regarding teaching controversial topics
  • Have a better understanding of the Nature of Science
  • Have the opportunity to network with other teachers of science

 
The four-hour experience is composed of a series of four consecutive presentations with three fifteen-minute breaks in between each session, designed for participants to rest and move to the corresponding virtual room. All sessions will be archived, allowing all registered participants the opportunity to watch the presentations on-demand, when convenient.
