Business leaders from across the North West have reacted to the raft of Budget announcements, including the Liverpool City Region securing Freeport status. The confirmed extension of the furlough scheme was seen as a positive, as were some of the short-term plans, but companies must now 'keep their focus' and 'make sure the government delivers on its commitments' as the country looks to navigate the fallout of the past year.
