Notable bills passed on last day of abbreviated legislative session
Saturday's overtime action in the Illinois General Assembly leisurely began shortly before 11 a.m. It picked up in the evening and wrapped up around 1 a.m., Sunday as lawmakers passed a few bills in a bipartisan way while some others had lengthy debates.
