| Project PLANETS We welcome the Horizon Europe project PLANETS to the NSC community. The project aims to develop and manufacture new, more sustainable and safer materials using biobased functionalised additives based on lignin & tannins to improve fire resistance, by demonstrating the applicability of the SSbD framework while technically developing alternatives for 3 molecules in chemical industries (plasticizers, flame retardants and surfactants) at TRL 6 and their incorporation into broadly available consumer goods at TRL7. Read more about it here. |
