NYC's Hot New Artist Neighborhood

Good morning. ⛅ Last weekend, our reporters visited the Sunset Park and Gowanus open studio events in Brooklyn and came back with impressions of the art and illuminating insights into the changing landscape of artist studios in NYC. There's a lot happening in both neighborhoods (Sunset Park is particularly hot right now) but, as usual, fears of displacement because of rezoning and gentrification are part of the picture.

Also today, a report from Manifesta 14 in Kosovo, an intimate look at Athens, and the mind-boggling tree sculptures of an artist who proudly calls himself “Monsieur Plant.”
