You can register now for a technical assistance webinar to be held on October 4, 2022, from 2 to 3 p.m. ET, on two funding opportunity announcements (FOAs) for studies on sickle cell disease (SCD) pain management. These FOAs are part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Helping to End Addiction Long-term Initiative, or NIH HEAL Initiative. One funding opportunity, RFA-AT-23-002, will support clinical trials on the efficacy or effectiveness of pain management approaches. The other, RFA-AT-23-001, will support pragmatic trials or implementation studies in health care systems that serve the SCD population. Both will use the UG3/UH3 cooperative agreement funding mechanism. At the webinar, NIH staff will provide a comprehensive overview of the two FOAs, discuss the types of proposals appropriate for each FOA, review application requirements, including requirements specific to the UG3/UH3 funding mechanism, and answer questions from webinar participants. |
