From Bach to Barber, the Much Anticipated Return of Inon Bartanan
| New York Times praises pianist Inon Barnatan as "one of the most admired pianists of his generation," while BBC Music is enthralled over this “superior playing, in which penetrating musicianship, compelling interpretive insight and elegant pianism achieve near-perfect equilibrium." Barnatan has wowed Celebrity Series audiences since his first appearance on the Series with longtime musical partner Alisa Weilerstein in 2008. Subsequent Series performances including his Boston solo recital debut in 2014, have provided ample evidence of his emerging mastery. This year Barnatan returns with an exciting and inventive program inspired by the Baroque Suite. |
