Tuesday is the day: SPS in Nuremberg, one of the most important international trade fairs for automation technology, opens its doors. Like no other international trade fair, it stands for IT/OT convergence: IT becomes part of OT and vice versa - the automation specialist hand-in-hand with IT experts.

This can be seen in numerous demos. One of them is at the ZVEI stand: the ‘Drive 4.0’ real-world laboratory will be demonstrating the first interoperable solution for electric drives.

The international standing of the SPS is also demonstrated by Inovance's decision to use the trade fair for the official launch of its robotics business in Europe.
