  Don’t fall for herd immunity To some whose political views hew to the libertarian right, the coronavirus has held the global economy hostage for far too long and grandiosely expanded the reach of governments. They argue the human herd must liberate itself by getting infected, and they downplay the consequences. But the concept of herd immunity won’t work in this case.
