On KQED This January: ‘Victoria’ Season 3, ‘Doc Martin’ Season 8, ‘Broken’ and ‘The Dictator’s Playbook’
| Happy Holidays Readers, TV's most romantic drama returns to KQED this January! Victoria Season 3 picks up in 1848 as revolution is breaking out across Europe and Victoria is pregnant with her sixth child. After six children in eight years, Victoria is ready to slow down the baby-making, but will that create problems in her passionate partnership? Victoria and Albert also find themselves at odds about their offspring, especially their oldest son Bertie, and the role of the monarchy. As revolution in Europe threatens Victoria's reign, personal challenges threaten her marriage. We can't wait to watch the drama unfold! January is a banner month for all you anglophiles with the long-anticipated premiere of Doc Martin Season 8, which returns to public television after a two-year plus wait, as well as a powerful new British drama Broken. Watch all the trailers here. Happy watching, Whitney Phaneuf Editor, On KQED |
