MPR News and the Minnesota Star Tribune are presenting a special spring edition of Talking Volumes with Minnesota author, Peter Geye at Mitchell Auditorium at The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth on May 1. Join Kerri Miller as she talks to Geye about his new novel, "A Lesser Light." Set in a lighthouse in 1910, against a brooding and beautiful landscape of Lake Superior, “A Lesser Light” is a story about industry and calamity, science versus superstition, patriarchy’s corrosive power, and the consequences when these forces collide in the wilderness of rapid social change.
